One of the best business decisions Henderson’s has made was joining Bumper to Bumper, part of the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance.  Incorporated on January 1, 2000 when Auto Value and All Pro/Bumper to Bumper merged, the Alliance is one of the largest auto parts distribution and marketing organizations in the world. 

The Alliance consists of a large number of automotive warehouses, like Henderson’s, that combine their buying power to assure our price competitiveness and the quality of parts on our shelves.

The Alliance also offers an impressive marketing program that gives independent shop owners the opportunity to identify with both a local and national program.   

Bumper to Bumper and its employees are strong believers and supporters of giving back to the communities and the people they serve. Each year we choose a worthy cause:

• In 2008, almost $10,000 was donated to The Original 1-800-Charity Cars where 1,000 vehicles were refurbished to assist disadvantaged families.
• In 2009, $15,000 was given to Susan G. Komen for the Cure with proceeds generated from company-wide sales of a pink die-cast collector Cadillac scale replica.
• In 2010, $50,000 in donations were made to Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
• In 2011, throughout the National Car Care Month of October, Bumper to Bumper service centers and parts stores promoted both the Be Car Care Aware program and National Breast Cancer Awareness by providing free materials to customers on the importance of breast health and vehicle preventative maintenance. Plus, they served as a collection point for donations to BCRF.
